Centrifugal fans develop much higher exhaust air pressures than standard axial fans and are used in installations requiring long duct runs. While the average axial fan maxes out at about 3 - 4m, these centrifugal fans can handle duct runs up to 50m!
Centrifugal fans can also be much more powerful than axial fans with extraction rates up to 220m3/hr!
