Integral Humidity sensor
The integral humidity sensor increases speed in proportion to relative humidity levels, saving energy and reducing noise.
The sensor also reacts to small but rapid increases in humidity, even if the normal trigger threshold is not reached. This unique feature ensures adequate ventilation, even for the smallest wet-room. Summer Bypass and Anti Frost Protection
An internal damper is activated when the outside temperature is less than the room temperature. The damper opens allowing cooler fresh air to bypass the Heat Recovery Cell and reduce the internal temperature towards the pre-set 'Comfort Temperature'. When the inside air temperature reaches the pre set 'Comfort temperature' the bypass damper closes.
Anti-frost protection: In cold climates there is a possibility of frost building up on the intake side of the heat exchanger. In order to prevent damage, the Kinetic reduces supply flow while maintaining extract flow at temperatures below zero.

Range Overview
A whole house, multi-room ducted solution, this residential MVHR system combines supply and extract ventilation in one unit. Warm, moist air is extracted from 'wet' rooms through ducting and passed through the heat exchanger before being exhausted to the outside. Fresh incoming air is preheated via the integral heat exchanger which recovers up to 92% of the heat energy that would otherwise be wasted. The unit's energy saving Vent-Axia LoWatt DC motors further improve its efficiency and carbon reducing capabilities, with the Sentinel Kinetic boasting 0.72 w/l/s low SFP.
In addition, heat recovery ventilation reduces excessive moisture in the air, combating condensation and subsequent mould growth, saving money on maintenance and decoration in the long and short-term. Home owners or tenants are further aided through better indoor air quality which has the duel health benefits of reducing microscopic fungal growth and eliminating the conditions in which house dust mites thrive, both of which are linked to allergic reactions and asthma.
This lightweight and quiet-running unit is suitable for installation in kitchen cupboards. The system's exact ventilation rate can be set on the LCD display at low, normal or boost speeds to match the volume of the property. This operation is then further enhanced by a range of external, plug and play control and sensor options which can account for changes in humidity, air quality, PIR (Passive Infra Red), CO2 and temperature. In addition the operating temperature settings can be pre-programmed for automatic operation of the summer bypass, providing free summer cooling. Wireless control options are also available, allowing controls to be located in the most convenient position.
An easily accessible heat recovery cube protected by two removable EU3 filters. The Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic models have three adjustable speeds, nominally - normal 104m3/h, boost 144m3/h and purge setting - maximum. On the front of the unit is a digital controller that can be used to re-set the speeds to any required performance, up to 270m3/hr. Offering 'Close Control' to prevent over ventilating.

Purge setting
The unit can be set to maximum flow (100%) by pressing and holding the Boost button on the unit itself or optional
wireless controller for 5 seconds. Purge will continue for two hours unless cancelled by pressing the Boost button again.
