Thermostats
Since April 2002 regulations now require all central heating systems to have a room thermostat.
Detecting the ambient temperature of your living space a room thermostat switches the heating system on and off to maintain the desired temperature. Usually these are best fitted in a hall, which is in an average temprature zone, about 1.5 metres high away from direct sunlight and not above a radiator.
