Fozz and Megaman Join Forces
Two of the most prominent names in the Low Energy Lighting market have joined forces in a bid to raise awareness of the improvements in technology and breadth of choice of Energy Saving Lamps and Fittings.
"The trouble is", said Megaman's marketing planner Victoria Mott, "Lots of people still believe that the only low energy lamps available are those ugly double biax and triple turn tubes that first came out over ten years ago." Indeed, the aesthetic, lamp life, fitting and lumen output of low energy lamps has come a very long way since the early days of 2 and 4 pin compact fluorescent tubes. "At Megaman, we want to educate the British consumer", Victoria went on to say, "In order that home owners make the switch to low energy lamps long before incandescent lightbulbs are phased out for good"
At Gil-lec whilst on a flying visit to the UK from Hong Kong, Fozz LIghting's worldwide sales director Ken added "Megaman are the perfect partner for Fozz Lighting: As a manufacturer of low energy downlights we needed to find a manufacturer who produced a real alternative to the halogen GU10 and GX53 lamps.
