An Introduction to Living Control 

In the world before central heating, every room had its own fire. Today, this sounds positively medieval, yet we manage our home entertainment exactly in the same way.

To listen to music in the kitchen, we plug in a hi-fi or radio... in the kitchen. To watch a DVD in the living room, we rely on the system in the living room. To wake up to our favourite morning show, we need another radio in the bedroom. And for music on the patio, we drag yet another system outside, or open the nearest window. Crazy isn't it?

And what about the décor? Remember how your newly decorated home looked before you installed the hi-fi rack, the VCR, DVD player and every other ugly entertainment box all over the house. If you want to listen to the radio in the bedroom, just press ‘radio' on the pad and pick a station. If you'd rather brush your teeth to a CD in the bathroom, press ‘CD' on the bathroom display and choose a title. It couldn't be simpler. Unlike other multi-room systems, Living Control's luxury in-room control panels allow you to make selections by name. This is unique.
