How to use this site

If this is your first visit to gil-lec.co.uk, you won’t yet have any log-in details: Don’t worry, you can still go ahead and purchase. Once you’ve completed the transaction your log-in details will be sent to you by email, ready for the next time you wish to buy from Gil-lec.

On the left hand side of every page appears the main menu, or top level of navigation. This is the list of main categories of electrical products available at gil-lec.co.uk.

If you hover your mouse over any of these categories a ‘drop down menu’ will appear. This shows the sub-categories residing under that main section.

If you hover your mouse over these sub-categories another drop down menu may appear if that particular sub-category is sub-divided further.

You may of course know what you’re looking for by sight, but not know its name. If this is the case you may click on ‘Products’ (in the horizontal navigation bar near the top of the page) or any of the main categories or sub-categories. Doing so will take you to menu pages which have handy pictures and descriptions of the type of goods appearing in each product listings page.

All our menus are alphabetical.

Simply type in the name of the product for which you are searching and chose from the results as they appear

We spent a very long time building and refining our search engine. We also take great care in the way we organise the information in our databse. For this reason our search facility should be second to none. …However, there is always room for improvement. If you have searched for an item that showed no results please let us know, detailing the exact wording you used. This will help us make the search facility even better.
