OSRAM first developed a deep trading relationship with Gil-lec more than ten years ago. You know that when you deal with Gil-lec you are made to feel a very important wheel in their machine; an integral part of their business chain. But more than this, dealing with Gil-lec is always fun, the whole business has a great feeling of positiveness and joy. The people who make up Gil-lec are certainly incredibly generous and warm hearted people and this is reflected in the way in which they deal with suppliers and, from what I have seen, customers and members of their team alike. Their trade days out and events are famous through the industry:- great fun, great camaraderie and always good for business.
In reflection of this, the Gil-lec team is one of the most professional, well trained and certainly most highly motivated teams in the industry. The team see the value in continuous training and are always keen and hungry to take part in product seminars and workshops.
The Gil-lec team are always happy and prepared to involve suppliers on key customer visits (never jealous of their customer relationships) in order to problem solve or to develop product opportunities.
Gil-lec are also innovative in so many of their approaches including their events, their showroom, their lighting specialisation, the depth of their stock, their investment in business processes and yet they maintain the personal touch and feel despite their size.
