In 1994 Gil-Lec joined the exclusive Fegime buying group. Buying more competitively through Fegime allows Gil-Lec to pass on significant savings to its customers, and marked a turning point in the company's history, for we can now operate as national electrical wholesalers with the personal service of an independent. In April 2000, and again in 2007, managing director, Reg Gilbert took up the prestigious post of Fegime Chairman.

This year's three day excursion to Spain's Albir Coast hosted the largest number of customers to date. Previous trips have taken us to Barcelona, Puerto Banus and Marbella.
